What is Foxtel HD+?
Foxtel HD+ offers both 720p and 1080i HD formats and Dolby 5.1 surround sound. To experience Foxtel HD+ you will need one of the new iQ2 boxes.

What Channels Will I Receive?
The channels you receive are:
· BBC
· Discovery
· National Geographic
· Fox Sports
· ESPN
· Box Office

Most Foxtel cable customers in the eastern states of Australia will receive free-to-air digital channels as well.

More Foxtel HD+ channels are expected in 2009.

What Can It Do?
As well as receiving Foxtel HD+, the new iQ2 box allows you to:

Watch/Record 3 Channels at Once:
The Foxtel iQ2 box contains four tuners. This allows you to record two programs whilst watching a third. At the same time FOXTEL iQ2 can also download "on demand" content and access a full seven days of electronic program guide information.

Pause Live TV:
When you press "pause" on the Foxtel remote both sound and picture are frozen. The iQ2 box automatically starts recording and you can resume viewing at any time by pressing "play" on the Foxtel remote.

Record Your Favourite TV Shows Automatically:
Foxtel iQ2 is equipped with "series link" which allows you to record every episode of your favourite TV show automatically. However, this function is currently not available for all programming.

Remote Record:
If you are away from your home you can instruct Foxtel iQ2 to record a program via the internet.

How Many Hours Can I Record?
The FOXTEL iQ2 comes standard with a 320GB hard disk drive (almost double that of Foxtel iQ). This allows you to record approximately 30 hours of High Definition (HD) content or 90 hours of Standard Definition (SD) content.
