Which part of the brain is more dominant for leaders?

The human brain is divided into the left and right parts. The left part of the brain is more logical and analytical in nature, while the right part is in charge of emotions and creativity. A leader makes decisions about the day to day operations and activities of the organization they are leading. They are constantly making decisions. The success of their management depends on the soundness of their decisions. There are also many complications that can arise in an organization. The leader has to exercise good judgement to be able to arrive at a satisfactory solution. The quantity of information a leader has to process daily makes them more dependent on the left side of the brain. This left side contains the quadrants of practicality and analysis. It is the quadrant of objectivity that a leader needs to be more rational in decision making. A leader also needs to be detailed. That little detail can make a whole world of a difference in an organization. Again the left part of the brain comes into play in making a leader more detailed. A leader resorts to the analytical part of their brain in paying attention to details. Most of a leader’s functions of logical, analysis, quantitative reasoning, planning, organizing, being factual, and sequential in decision making uses the left part of the brain. While the left side of the brain is more active in leaders, a modern leader is one that thinks towards the whole quadrants of the human brain. A great leader is expected to be factual, analytical, and logical in their decision making. They are expected to be organized, sequential, and detailed in their planning. They should have a great interpersonal human relationship and be good in controlling their emotions and influencing those of others. They should also be able to use their intuition and creativity to develop strategies for the future of the organization.
